First of all, I noticed, as I was putting rocks into the circles that I had some that are tannish yellow. So, I decided that the sunburst in the center would look better if I used these sunshine colored rocks. So, now, as I put a rock into a circle, if it is yellow, I exchange for one of the brown or purple rocks in the sunburst. My plan is to completely fill in the eight full circle with sun burst lines of yellow rocks. Right now it has about eight rays so I have a ways to go.
Another idea, I am not talking about-yet. I have to see if it actually works out before I show you.
I thought a labyrinth "goddess" might be my next summer art project...have to expand that idea yet.
I think I am now working on circles five and six. I am going to make seven. Next time, maybe I will show you where and how I get the rocks! Nothing glamourous but I have really enjoyed my outdoor time. It is odd, however, that the weather rather dictates my activities. At first I tried to get out early in the morning before it got too hot. Lately, it has been so rainy that I try to get out between storms...
My N and S Line of rocks with circles. One think I learned... my house sits at an odd angle... lol.
Looking N to the mountains... which are covered with rainy clouds so much because we have the monsoons right now.
As I made the circles, a sagebrush was right in one of the paths! I just sort of jogged right around it. I will be interested to see how that feels when I am walking the paths. The say a change is as good as a rest so might be a good thing.
Looking to the west towards the cliffs and hills... and a load of rocks waiting to be placed.
The center with most of the rocks now yellowish... lol
The labyrinth is located in such a peaceful place... I think it is going to be awesome!
