I used Carla Sonheim's eyedropper drawings technique here. The ink seemed to flow more on the watercolor paper than it did on card stock. But, all in all, this is a happy memory of sending in all those drawings to magazines. lol

Journal Page
When I was a child, I wanted to be an artist. Really! I would see these ads in magazines that said "draw this" to win a scholarship to an art school. I wanted that scholarship and sent lots of drawings to them in the mail. Finally, they sent me a letter that said you had to be over 18 to win. I was sorely put out about that! The other day I found this ad on the net and used it as an idea for a journal page. We really do have to create our own world!

Carol! i used to do those drawings also and mail them in and I received the same letter!!
