Opposite Art

Over in the wild precious truth group there is an activity starting dealing with finding your truth.  I thought a journal would be in order for that.  And also, this month's sketchbook challenge is opposites... an idea from one of my favorite teachers and mentor, Laura Cater-Woods.  She is so awesome.  Anyway, I dug out a composition notebook and started a cover.  I am thinking I might be adding to it but this is it so far... a play on the saying "the truth will set you free."  I like the black and white contrasts, and opposites, kinda reminds me of jail bars which is opposite of freedom.

This is great, I like the way the bars both hide and reveal the truth as the same can b said of all journalling. Good luck with the projects they sound great fun

Hi Carol,
I love how this turned out! It is almost like an Optical Illusion! When you squint and look at it, yolu can see the bars in the background and the letters really clear in the foreground. :)
