The face on the left is now the cover on my sketching journal. Do you remember her? I think it is DJ Petit (if not, I apologize!) who paints beautiful faces on fabric and I had to try that... and the photo scan is one of my Mom before I was born.
This has a scan of HRH when he was bout fourteen... lol, and another of my Mom.
Just random stuff and the writing in green is a photo copy of my Mom's writing left over from another past project.
I used to climb fences and walk along the top when I was very small. This reminded me of that! And the picture of Myo reminds me of the crabby old window woman who always yelled at me for climbing on the fence, lol.
The face on the left is a portion of a self portrait and the little girl next to it is a photo scan of me when I was about maybe ten.
Interesting, isn't it, how a jibber jab of ephemera can bring back odd and fogotton memories? I just tried to use up some "stuff" from days gone by.

I am liking your base pages. I haven't done much art journaling and this is what I would call my first. My focus is on where I have been and were I am going.
I haven't heard of the workshop you refer to, maybe I will check it out. I like what you are doing, looks like you are too, you have produced a lot!
Maybe the grumpy window woman was just frightened for you, climbing on the fence that way!
Fabulous beginning...will be watcing your progress.
I joined too and have not had time to become involved. (YET)
I have my Strathmore Journal and just need the time.
Thanks for sharing,great inspiration...

Happy Creative New Year ...
Carol sweetie,
You are doing a fantastic job on the journal. I haven't heard of the workshop either. Might have to check it out. :)
Funny how certain things make us remember things from the past.
Hugs
Carol! In true Carol style you have prepared a million pages. Can't wait to see what you do with all of them!
You've certainly got me inspired! I've tried to sign up for the Srathmore course, but I suspect I missed the boat as I haven't heard anything. Fingers crossed I'll be able to jump in ... thanks for sharing it with us!
I love these! You have really put a lot of color and made some intersting pages. I think you need to look at them a long time to see everything you've done. Very nice.
