I had a hard time with the first prompt. I finally just started sketching. A book and a cup of tea are never far from my side so I thought I must "prize" them, lol. I am still working in my handmade journal that has tinted pages, and the sketching does not look very good when scanned because of the colored background. But, at least I did get started and the is the first big step, isn't it?
My basic staples!
It's been a year and month since I had foot surgery. I just realized they are for the most part painfree! It happened so gradually I really did not realize it until I started thinking about this prompt!

I am sure I will find more things as the month progresses...

I thought highly prized was a difficult prompt. I'm looking for my next highly prized now that sparky is finished. I love the book and cup of tea--I'm with you--Never without a book and several back ups!!
Love your sketches. Like you I have had a hard time starting, in fact I haven't started - it is going to take some serious pondering.
