Wild Turkey Art

This morning, suddenly, we discovered twenty seven wild turkeys in our yard grazing in random wanderings.  They came very close to the house and I was able to get photos and videos.  We have lived in our current home for over ten years and the turkeys have not come to our house before.  We have had lots of other birds, and deer, and fox, and cottontail rabbits, a moose, stray dogs and cats, escaped goats who wanted to eat every morsel of growth available, in the field a ways back a herd of elk, lizards, snakes, and several species of squirrels.  We enjoyed a couple of hours of turkey watching then they just as suddenly disappeared again.  I hope they visit us again soon.  In honor of today's visit, a small drawing in my sketchbook.
