Mona Rosa Art
Today, as I was doing some more framing, I found this old print of Mona in the back of one of the frames. It was on super thin paper and seemed really vintage. I thought "why not cut Mona's face out and put it in the middle of my rose to add some interest." So I did, but it really didn't thrill me. Then I thought I might as well add the hands. But, with her face in the middle of the rose, the face and hands were too close together so I had to move the face up. Thats when it looked like the rose was a robe. So, I put the face and hands on and added more paint. This is the result. It makes me laugh. I call her Mona Rosa. Not as boring as the rose by itself was, anymore, at least to me.

A great improvement on the rose!!
See by adding some more color to the rose like I told you, helped! :)
Your Mona Rosa made me smile too.
Hugs
Hi Darlin!! I am also in Ric"s group.
I could not find the comment section for all the framed art you found in the garage!!
I would take each one, take the art out, clean the glass and put them back together. Most of the time painting a frame breathes new life into one's lost art!! I did see one expensive frame in the stack, I would add some paint to it to.
I buy frames of all sizes and paint them to fit my art. So far it is working for me. Most of all have fun. After painting all of them, I would wrap each one up and put away so they stay clean and dust free***
