Zine and Nick Bantock

Just so you know, (in case you haven't been hanging around here with me), I am involved in other things besides Carla's Drawing Labs.  I have been working on my zine for the I Heart Zines swap hosted by the talented mentor/teacher Alma Stoller.
And, another friend and mentor, the ever energenic Sox from the scetchbook project group, got me going on Nick Bantock and his "mail art." I am still doing some research on his art to learn his techniques.
But I am giving out a peek at both these projects.

And of course you need to see the results of the next lab.

Hi Carol, Wow, you've been busy. Collage/mixed media has so much potential. It looks like you're having fun. But, what I really like is your bugs and butterflies! Too much fun! I like the fun colors and shapes; nicely done.

Come join me in my nest. Rest online with me. Talk with me. Play art with me! Follow me where ever my flights of fancy take me! Forgive me for my mistakes, enjoy my successes. And please, feel free to comment or to follow me!
