If you have been following me through my journeys into creative twists and turns and swaps, you know that over a year ago I was involved in a "lost marble" swap. We were going to send marble bags to each other, put a marble we found for the person who made the bag and send it on every two weeks. That did not happen. I moved on to other things. Then, suddenly, a box recently arrived with six marble bags in it! Some one just had kept them for ever so long! The marble bags are beautiful with cute little journals for the players to write about the marble finding experience. This is one of those journals, explaining where I found the marbles I am including in all the bags...
I really did not want to spend a major amount of time on this so I used some "found" mountain rubber stamps from a thrift shop and the burro from the YSM, with a bit of water color washes, and some altered "sticker" packs.
The lady who had them felt bad about keeping them so long and apologized! We are all happy to have our marbles "found" again! Perhaps the long wait, although disturbing, may be making the "finding" all the better!
Swaps are so unpredictable and so much fun, don't you think? You never know what you will get back.

What a happy surprise to receive the bags after so long. And what a great journal to send along.
