The thingy behind her head was a magazine picture I cut out and pasted there at some time in the past.

Blond hair is not east to do with colored pencils.
Red hair is easier. She needs some blending.
The back ground was made using some kind of mesh for a stencil, I think. Her eyes will be reworked at some future time, lol. That eye shadow is just way too much!
For some reason, the oval I pre painted seemed to call for a bit of a side view. I think I will do a bit more of pre painting the pages. I also think I might add some stamp images on the backgrounds of these faces. Face book is so fun to play with!

Face Book is your journal of faces? Or is it a program? Whatever, I enjoy seeing the results. Faces are difficult to render. I like to try portraits of real people, but "imagination people" work well too!
I like the girl with the "thingie" behind her head--looks like a halo or a crown!
