Wish-Another Glossy Project Effort
As far as I know, this is a photo of an un identified subject. I find lately I am rather drawn to profiles. So, when I was sorting through my magazines, this one caught my eye. I followed Alma's instructions for the embroidery. Then I gave some paint sticks a try. They looked rather anemic and scribbly. So, I wet down the parts I had scribbled on, and floated some acrylics into the wet areas. Later, when I went back to see how dry it was, I was enchanted with the migration of color. I like her.

I like her, too...nice effect with the mixture of colors floating together. She's beautiful.
Peace & Love,

Ditto! Her looks are very dreamy and quiet - but inspirational. The profile is great and the sewing is, I think, very effective.
Love the added color! Did you use a tape labeler for the writing at the top - blends in nicely!
Hi Carol,
Super!
I so love it.
The water soluble oil pastels from Crayola are great. Just color and run over it with a wet brush and the colors bleed beautifully.
The great thing is that anything can be added to the glossy piece.
Gold leaf, glitter, crayon work, sooo much fun.
I am sooo happy you are enjoying The Glossy Project.
looking forward to seeing more.
