My husband made me this bird feeder in the early 90's and it sets just outside my big window where I get to watch the juncos and finches and sparrows play and quarrel. The feeder also has had a visit from ravens, flickers and blackbirds. The redtail hawk flys over it occasionally too and so does the falcon.

I hadn't drawn much during Dec. I don't know why. Maybe it was because of my immobility issue and so really did not have good models. The last two or three days, I started again with the EDM prompts. When I look at the drawings, I can see I regressed. The daily drawing really does sharpen your "vision" and your drawings take on a more accomplished look! These are okay, but I think I should have been a bit more focused, and maybe added a bit more detail. I used a mechanical pencil first then embellished with markers and pens. Another thing that helped me was a tip someone mentioned about "gridding" large size journal pages so you can do more drawings on one page. Smaller drawings are much easier I found!

So glad you're back to drawing; keep going...
What charming drawings! I love the hat and the bird. And, the bird feeder is really fun! nancy
A prickly cactus bird feeder/bath. How COOL! Always a peaceful time watching birds. Drawing those constantly moving, flying things is a bit more challenging!
Love the cactus bird feeder! Welcome back to the fold, glad to see you sketching again, especially the birds!
