Slide Mount Efforts
Have you played with slide mounts or coin protectors? There are so many things you can do with them. If you scroll back about a hundred posts or so, (hehe) you will see some jewelry I made using slide and coin mounts, wire, beads, collage, all the stuff you know about. Actually, if you look at the lower left corner of each of these photo's, you will see a couple there.
Now, recently, in our book study, we are playing around with the little "picture frames" so we can use them in our journals, or on cards, or whatever. Many are painting them, as I did for the jewelry, but this time, I decided to use some of my papers, since I have so much in my paper stashes. The thing that is fun about these is that the tiniest little piece of ephemera can be just the perfect element to give them the pizzazz they ask for! Fun project!
